April 21, 2018 VFW Post 688 is out in the morning rain cleaning up River Road Park. We served America with pride in Wars abroad. Now we serve our community with pride! We love Boerne and Kendall County!
February 6, 2018 and every 1st Tuesday of the Month from 8-9am VFW members with family and friends volunteer at Boerne City Lake Park. Cleanup lasts an hour. Supplies are brought by the VFW member POC.
VFW Post 688 adopted Boerne City Lake Park several years ago through the City of Boerne Parks and Recrection Adopt a Park Program. We are proud to provide community service such as this to help keep the City of Boerne beautiful for its residents and guests!

On November 18, 2017 VFW Post 688 cleaned up River Road Park. It’s one of two City of Boerne Parks we’ve adopted and care for. We are War Veterans with a passion to serve then, now, and in the future. We are proud to call Boerne home and proud to invest in our community. VFW Post 688-Serving Boerne since 1936!

July 20, 2017 Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 688 serves the community in many ways. Here are some Post 688 members volunteering at Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries.
July 15 2017 VFW Post 688 brought the refreshment for Bingo at the Kerrville VA Hospital and assisted veterans playing Bingo who were unable to mark there own cards.
VFW Post 688 adopted Boerne City Lake Park several years ago and goes out regularly to help keep the park clean. This morning we were out there picking up trash and debris. We are proud to provide community service such as this to help keep the City of Boerne beautiful for its residents and guests!
