Honoring Our Fallen in Memorial Day Ceremony

On Saturday, May 27 2019, at the Boerne Cemetery, VFW Post 688 and the community honored those who gave of themselves so the rest of us could live in freedom.  In attendance were veterans of various armed conflicts to include four who served in WWII, the local community, and Gold Star Families.  The ceremony began with a prayer, a 21 gun volley, the National Anthem and the raising of colors to full staff.  A fly-over, forming the missing man position, immediately followed.  We honored Gold Star Families and concluded with a prayer.
