Post Remembers Namesake on 100th Anniversary After Death in Action

We had a fantastic remembrance of Pvt. Bruno Phillip today. We are proud to have his name as our VFW Post name. Thank you to the family of Pvt. Bruno Phillip.  Pvt. Bruno Phillip was killed in Action September 3rd, 1918 during the St. Mihiel Offensive in France.

On Monday, Cary Atkins, Lorraine Massey and Tom Phillip attended the event at Veterans Plaza for the 100th year since Pvt Bruno Phillip was killed in action in France. The three of us got to cut the cake at the reception. Thank you to the new members who took their VFW Oath of Obligation on this special day!
